I just created a Steam Page for the next version of Coppercube, version 6: https://store.steampowered.com/a... This means the next CopperCube update will be version 6. But it will take quite a bit of time until it is released. If you have a Steam account, it would be cool if you could help and add tags to the CopperCube Steam page, tagging it as "Game Development" and similar. I think this also levels up your Steam account, as far as I understand. The same rule as always applies about getting Coppercube 5 now: If you buy it now from Ambiera.com, I give you a free update to CopperCube 6 as well once it is released. |

This news made my day much happier Thanks! |

I added many tags to the Steam page. My hobbies have switched since I bought CopperCube. I haven't bought new games for a long, long time. I would rather create my own. I will play my own game. "I will play my own game." ~ Bill Gates said this when he was asked why he doesn't play the pre-installed games on his computer. |

Cool!! Love the new ui.... And icons for scene objects....lightning looks much better with that bloom effect... And we willl have fbx animation import too... Wondering what more changes we will have in this new update... |

But there will be a nice surprise at least. Parallax mapping? Cube map reflection? Vr support oculus, vive, gear? joypad support? Nodal Shader editor? AR Integration? just a question about post effect, is there some possibility to add some other post effect like SSAO, Chromatic Aberration or Depth of Field? look like a nice update... |

Thanks! It's also important to 'upvote' the 'game development' tag, by clicking the + button. Strange that valve made it that way.. :) Nice guesses bob :) Currently there are only about 5 built-in simple post effects, and I also though about making it possible to add more yourself, but let's see. Yes, I'll blog and tweet more about some of the features in the near future. |

Post-processing effects applied on a 15 years old 3D engine won't help too much. They will slow down the things quite a lot. But let's forget about the obsolete 3D engine. Many basic features are still missing. A few of them: - FBX, MAX, Blend import options for both static and skinned meshes. - decent lighting - decent shading (you cannot even use normal maps on skinned meshes) Simply put, CopperCube needs a real "resurrection". good luck |

Looking forward to the v.6 update - as far as the 'steam tags' are concerned - well you've got my vote. Keep up the good work and pay no attention to the 'Nay Sayer(s)' as you know how children behave when they don't get thier way. Good Luck and keep those improvements coming . |
