If it comes, please, I want big games with high polygons to be made.

I am eagerly waiting for CopperCube 8, Coppercube 7 is nothing special, it is the same old piece of tool with just little theme changes here and there.

I'm waiting for an Apple silicon macOS version of the editor! [rolling dice and throwing them on the ground] "Baby needs a new pair of shoes!"

The forum is nowadays full of senseless posts. But it's quite some humour to read such posts thanks a lot for creating the thread.

Btw I am also waiting for an update just like you.

Given how many people exist who just want everything handed to them and automated, I wouldn't be surprised if such an engine was created at this point...

I totally agree.

If you strive for nothing, then nothing is all life becomes. Asking for help and having everything done for you are two different things.

In my iOS game, Lava Crew, I came up with the characters, storyline and the music. And when changes popped up that went in directions I never thoughts of, it allowed me to come up with new ideas!

In my Luposian game, I've asked for help, but always strove to do as much as I can do on my own. Thankfully, CopperCube makes that possible, thanks to the hard work of Nico!

Yep, exactly. Good, deep thought.

The very concept of facilitating basic functionalities with pre-made actions and behaviors, such as setting variables, is fine. In fact, it's convenient, and you still end up learning what variables do, which will, in turn, make scripting easier if you decide to go that route.

IMO, CopperCube is the only engine where scripting truly isn't necessary, at least in the traditional sense. What you can do with just the pre-made stuff is insane. Vegan Pete is an absolute WIZARD at showcasing this.

Also, paying someone to help you (or even getting free help, if they're willing - there's one person here on the forum in particular who is an absolute godsend - you know who you are!) is totally fine too. Remember lots of games are made by studios, sometimes by people in the hundreds, or even thousands. Sometimes it's necessary to concede and say "You know what? I'll leave this to someone who can execute this vision of mine the best!" and... :)

I sent to Niko all my new updated source code about 3 days ago and he confirmed receipt of it.

So no negative posts trying to claim Im responsible for any delays up until now ok....as I didnt send him anything until just now.

He asked for a dedicated email reliquishing all copyright licence restrictions from me to use it in CopperCube which I did.

So its up to Niko when to piblish any new updates....as a total guess I would say 3 months from now...but could be sooner...who knows..

Sounds like we have to practice some more patience, but that it will presumably pay off in the end.

Thank you very much for your contributions @Robbo!
