lol that chef. is he supposed to be invincible or am I just that bad at games? this was very fun. I believe you nailed the concept of a sandbox with this one. so here are the pros and cons I noticed:

pros: the variety of guns and weapons and stuff was fun, some of the weapons like the kitchen knife had different animations for each mouse button, you could see the robots feet when he moved, and the little shake to the hud was nice. the robot levitate hand reminded me of the half-life gravity gun.

cons: spawning monsters with your menu up can get you caught in a loop of death that can be frustrating, I sometimes spawned beneath the floor... and hmmmm... the main menu for me lags drastically in comparison to the game itself.

all in all I enjoyed it. thanks for sharing!! :P

Hey @rolevix it keeps getting better and better, loved the new physics and the menu, looks like you're setting the foundation straight from the beginning with the development, which is incredible to see, keep up the good work!

For more suggestions, I'd say being able to have a few static objects, as well as physics based ones would be a good idea, and it would be really impressive to be able to joint different items together (like in gmod for example). I'm sure the jointing part together shouldn't be too difficult, but figuring out the collision box of the final object would be a real pain.

Anyway, great work!

So finally I got the time to play this game, I really liked the big inventory and amount of weapons and objects are there.

at first I was unable to play the game, I was simply hitting my mouse keys , control, Enter and other keys until I get back to this thread and checked the controls and found that Tab is used for the inventory to bring items and Npc's in game.

I am still unable to understand how to use materials.

This game has lot of interesting things.

I liked Toon shader used for the blue Knight.
The way scene blurs and the inventory opens.
there are so many details.
particles and all.

I liked the way the hologram dies into pieces. Every object every npc has its own property and own effects.

The way objects gets destroyed.
Enemy wave system.

This is a really good masterpiece created with this engine.

Beginning from The Ui it looks very professional and really pleasing.
The amount of options available to configure.
borderless and border mode when pressing F4.

however, I personally didn't like the floating in-game hud maybe You can put an option to make it static as well so that it won't move with the player.
cause it completely hides the amount of health when the player is running.

there are a few more things.

There is a bug sometimes when you close the inventory the player jumps up automatically.

If you press W and then press Tab to open inventory and then you release W and then you close the inventory the player will stay in a walking loop. until any movement key is pressed again.

Upon respawning the player respawn to the last position where he dies and it makes the zombies or enemies attack the player easily and he will die again. Maybe setting a fixed spawning point will be a good idea. Assuming that you have planned this already.

Also shooting while running is not available and this is really necessary to shoot while running.

sometimes the jump key doesn't trigger if you are walking or running.

I personally didn't liked the MuzzleFlash of the guns however smoke (dirt) looks really nice when the bullet collides with the surrounding.
It will be really nice if there is soundFx when the bullet hits the surroundings.

having different sound effects when hitting different object will also be good. Right now hitting everything with melee weapon produces the same sound. It will really good if we hit a metal container then it should sound metallic rather than if we hit some sort of wooden crate or something..

Also, there is a bug with the Knife's and katana's they show the attack effect sometimes even when they are not in the range of attacking or colliding with any object they show the sound effect and smoke when swaying in the air too.

There has been a lot of work done the sound effects and different types of guns. Sniper, rifles, pistol, and melee weapon.

Don't know but it feels like you are also using Lod's for texture filtering not sure about this.

Overall this project Impressed me a lot. Great job keep going.

P.S that immortal Chef hahaahha

@just_in_case Much thanks for that big feedback!

however, I personally didn't like the floating in-game hud maybe You can put an option to make it static as well so that it won't move with the player.

Yep, that was an old version, now i make a static hud.

Upon respawning the player respawn to the last position where he dies and it makes the zombies or enemies attack the player easily

This is bug, i will fix it soon. Player must respawning in spawn zone after death.

Also shooting while running is not available and this is really necessary to shoot while running.

No,this is actually a feature, you can't use any weapon and activate items on running,

sometimes the jump key doesn't trigger if you are walking or running.

That was a CCB bug, but i was write a new code for jumping. Now it work nice :)

I personally didn't liked the MuzzleFlash of the guns

Guns in different contents have different effects. I'm thinking that wil be a good feature. So lowpoly guns have a cartoon muzzleflash :)

It will be really nice if there is soundFx when the bullet hits the surroundings.

It have this feature. Just shoot into far object and turn off, you listen stereo sound of bullet hitting.

Overall this project Impressed me a lot. Great job keep going.

Thank you again, and yes, i'm still working on. Almost finished "save game" feature, that you can build something on empty map and save it!
