hello everyone. This is yet another project of mine. Actually, it is the first one I started working on when I switched to CC5 (along time ago) and have been updating it to CC6. This demo is just to show the menu system I have been working on. It uses a lot more java script that I normally like to use, but if you want something to work, sometimes you have to add to what CC offers... comments or questions... I will try to answer any questions about how it works. and as always - Thanks for your time to have a look! https://www.mediafire.com/file/5... a note about java scripts - some of it I have written myself - but most of what I use was written by other people - I only had to modify it for my own use... THANKS to: "robo" for all his hard work and sharing his scripts and to "just_in_case" as well - as to everyone else who has shared over the years! |

Hello Count2rfeit, Your short demo is a nice appetizer. It would be interesting to enjoy a closer view of your animated entities. |

Actually a nice start 'count2rfeit' - any chance you like to share the ccb file ? Good how the options directly change the game as you adjust the settings, I don't have that in my game currently. Getting sliders to work well isn't easy if you want to adjust by dragging the sliders with the mouse, the click to adjust works well enough though.. the game idea wasn't bad actually - travel to different era's in time is a nice concept and get a variety of destinations always good.. |

thanks robo true about the slider - I did work on one but like you said - it isn't easy to get the results that work well (the slider tends to move faster that the function can keep up with) but I'll probably keep working on it later... sorry - but the .ccb file is the base for my whole game, so I'm not ready to share it. besides, it would probably be confusing to anyone who didn't create the systems. just going through the folders to try to pick out what is working with what to make things happen wouldn't be easy....but it wasn't that hard to do. That's the great thing about CC - with a little thought and work, you can put together a really good game.... well, you have already proven that with your game! thanks |
