Niko,love your amazing work.can u please make a better third person camera. the camera in CC6 is static and cant be moved around. the camera should be like orbiting the character so u can see the charecter and other stuff like in uncharted and other new games. again love your amazing work

Hi, This is my first comment in this forum. First of all, I want to congratulate the software developer Niko of this superb game engine currently offered graciously for free. Since a few weeks I am visiting this forum and I am glad to discover that there are some skilled and active members whose comments are useful for the beginners. I already spent a few hours with Coppercube. The documentation and the website are as good as the game engine itself : Excellent ! About the 3rd Person Camera, may I suggest you to see my settings in this uploaded basic demo : https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjokN1FU3jK1... To move the actor : the arrow keys (Up = walk forward, Down = walk backward, (Left or Right) +(Up or Down) = rotate and walk. To change the active camera : key 1 = camera 1 (this one is active when starting the demo), key 2 = camera 2. I created the animated mesh (the walking man) with these free softwares : (Makehuman 1.2.0 beta2) + (Blender 2.82a + plugin MHX2 Runtime + plugin BVH) + (Davedub's bvhacker 1.8.0.6). Exported in FBX format from Blender. Please note that I am a hobbyist (I am 70 years old). Feel free to use this uploaded demo and its content for any purpose. :-) |
