Better A.I.

One thing I see people complain a lot about is the A.I. of NPC's in coppercube.

It would be good if the AI was overhauled or if some more plugins were added to improve the A.I. generally in the following ways:

Aggression: (changes the probability/rate of the NPC shooting the player when inside the avtivation range)

Seeking: (changes the probability of the NPC chasing after the player when outside the activation range)

Fleeing: (changes the probability of the NPC running away from the player when inside the activation range)

Alertness: (changes the probability of the NPC detecting the Player when inside the activation range)

Accuracy: (changes the probability of the NPC hitting the player when shooting)

---------------------------------------------------

Some major problems I'm facing with the default coppercube6 A.I. are:

The player can walk up to the NPC and repeatedly shoot it without the AI ever detecting or attacking me.

The A.I. will sometimes shoot at me but will often completely miss, even if I'm stood still.

The A.I. will not ever chase the player - if the player moves, the AI will often walk in the other direction or walk past the player without attacking.

----------------------------------------

With these problems, it seems impossible to make a game with decent enemies, especially if I want to try and add easy enemeis and end-of-level boss enemies. There currently doesn't seem to be a way to vary the enemy "difficulty".

I want my NPC's to randomly patrol and/or seek out the player. When the player is detected (either in range or when the NPC is shot by the player) the A.I. will shoot/follow the player. If the AI's health becomes critically low, it will run away from the player (instead of seeking/following/chasing) and continue to shoot at the player if it gets close.
