Hey guys just now completed a very simple game demo.

A game demo about jumping and falling.

what's in this demo?

Endless
Random placement and rotation of floors
Random node conversion into enemy
Random color change for enemy node ( due to a bug or something else)
Scoring system
Acuurate collision detection
Use of physics simulation
And of-course GameOver
Use of dynamic material (so that color can be changed during runtime)
Emotions of a game Developer (Super simple Logics which took more than 5 days with continuous sitting in front of computer altering more than 500 errors)


Also a weird physics phenomenon has been discovered while creating this game in which an object turn out to be some sort of magnet which makes the ball fall down if moved from the left side you may call it southpole of the object and will make the ball goes upward if moved from rightside of the object you may call it Northpole of the object
and if ball is neither moving out from righ or left side of the object it will remain stick to the object just like a magent.
Maybe after falling down for more than 500 errors this magic ball got some electrostatic charge which converted it into and elctromagenet.

Maybe one day i will use this thing to create some good game.

Note:- the above mentioned phenomenon is not included in the file. If you want to know how to acheive the above magnet like stuff in this game then just Ask me down in the comments.

Amazing demo just_in_case!

You cease to amaze me how quickly you make these wonderful games. Rotate object by mouse..another great action script.

I've downloaded the game, it's really very good! No issues, everything worked great & I love the mouse-movement mechanics!

@aiming_bullets Am not sure if this works on android or not as android target doesn't support physics right now. But you can tweak this to make this work in android....

Nice - I just got 79 points.

I notice you have a max rotate for left and right.
Maybe good to have a meter to show how much rotate left on each side. Also a timer to get to the bottom for each round would be nice as the difficulty goes up for each level.

Flashing rainbow parts to land on for bonus points maybe also good. What about a hard to get to invincibility power up for a few seconds also..

I didn't planned the game that way. I created this for to learn basics of physics and because someone here requested this demo.
Thats why it lacks lots of features which might nake the graphics appealing and the gameplay a lot more fun....

I do have a lot of other demos lying in my hard drive... They all are just protoyped or dropped project but have taught me a lot...

I never planned a complete final product with coppercube instead i love to create little demos to teach the basic concepts of game developing to others.

But just like others am waiting for the next update because there are things or some features which are too small but yet so effective that any developer tries to ignore them. However they are easy to develop but most of the time developer find it very unusefull or not that necesaary so they ignore those features and plan on to others which are higher on their todo list and are more demanding by the community.

Those little features am talking about includes keyboards shortcuts ui elements and other stuff which can save a lot of time of the user. So personally i don't require anything big or fancy from this engine, this engine can do sufficient work with the current available properties but there are lots of small features and things and bugs also... Which appears at a certain point of time while developing something and then are really difficult to go with any workaround then one has to simply drop the project and have to wait till the next update.

The developer should also work on the removal of old code which are not being used in the app, and should also work on the already available features to make them better instead of just planning other features... For example the physics and collision between parent and child nodes.... Children nodes physics should be independent of the parental node this way onr can create lots of cool stuff..

Ragdoll , chains and all. So physics and collision is the most important feature... There is good amount of difficulty if you are developing using physics. Drag and drop behavior might not work. Collision will not change automatically yoy have to manually change it by using every few seconds behavior .

A bug can appear which crashes the app and is quite hard to reproduce.

So for me it is require to make the currently available feature bug free and requires a lot of developing.

Multi selection , auto opening of folder in scenegraph, alligning of actions and behaviours, testing of the exe while the actions and behaviors properties are open... Currently you have to close all the properties than have to test the app and if u ahve to change value then have to reopen all those tabs and change the value again and again.. Untill u get the desired result... Is quite frustrating.... Keyboard Shortcuts for views there are shortcuts for only a few views...

It will take lot of writing if i started mentioning all those little but quite usefull features which comes in handy..

So am waiting for a new release and then i will try doing something usefull.

There are chances that i might post a new demo in few weeks...
