Hello,
I downloaded the free version and created a website with 4 pages. Everything is wonderful! Now I have put the data on my FTP server. But when I now call up my URL with https, I get the message:

Secure connection failed
An error occurred when connecting to www.katharina-heinzelmann.de. The SSL peer does not have a certificate for the requested DNS name.
Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT

What is the cause of the error? Thanks for your help!
Katha

Hello, apparently a ssl certificate is missing in the server or some setting is needed on the server side for it.
Do you installed a certificate?

Is this a setting in my website provider and not a setting in RocketCake? Sorry for my stupid question...

There are no stupid questions but, for sure, we can be stupid if don't ask questions :-)

Regarding your question: you must install and configure an SSL certificate for your domain name, this can be achieved with your hosting provider.
"On average, a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate costs around $60/year. However, the price can vary from $8 to $1000/year, depending on various factors, such as the number of domains one can protect, the validation process, the warranty, or the certificate authority itself." (Google search)

Ask to your provider for the price and the process to install it.
And just for you to know there are free SSL certificates too.
Works the same as the paid ones, but requires a little more technical skills for installing.

I can give you a hand if need more help on it.
