When setting up an image gallery with square format thumbs (see my site https://4hundert.de/augb.html as an example) it would be highly appreciated if one could shift the images horizontally (if they actually are landscape format) or vertically (if they actually are portrait format) to ensure the square crop gives the best possible and most meaningful preview of the image behind the thumb. I'm looking forward to see this implemented some time in the near future |

Would you want to set this individually for each image? Or just a generic setting for all images? |

Well, individually for each image, for sure. The aim is to be able to adjust each image within the square so to avoid cropped heads or faces or other important parts of the image in a gallery with square thumbs. Just to give an example: The images in the first row of this gallery https://4hundert.de/augb.html are actually rectangular portrait format. Currently, RocketCake just centers the images in the square thumb which leads to cropped heads. I wish I could move each image in the editor with the mouse (in this case vertically) to avoid cropping the models' heads in the gallery. |

True, makes sense. Will see if I can add something for that. |

Hi I am also requesting the ability to be able to have the portrait photos in portrait style and the landscape in landscape. I am even happy to physically each image to be setup in portrait or landscape depending on how the photo was taken originally |

The above mentioned image gallery is now available here https://4hundert.de/augenblicke.... |
