I've been working on this project for a few years now, most of it has been Worldbuilding and an odd animation here and there. I'm hoping at some point to have people collaborate on the Worldbuilding or the video game elements. Here are a few images: |

A little background on the concept. A wormhole is discovered by a group of Danish and Canadian scientists. They begin plans and preparations to study the anomaly, which is located just past Pluto. World War 3 breaks out (Mainly the US and Russia after the US President has and affair with the Russian first lady. The polar ice caps are nelting, etc. Wow, hey! A stable wormhole! Long story short, a bunch of arks are sent and on the other side, it's basically Canada in space. More of a parody with a lot of cultural references. First off, I'm not Canadian, though a lot of people think I am. I'm actually from Washington, DC. So why Canada? The easy answer would be, "Why not?" Truth is, I love Canada, I have a lot to thank them for. My wife is Canadian. My hound, though born in Tennessee, later rescued by the Ontario Bloodhound Rescue League and he pretty much identifies as Canadian. Other reasons? I used to work at a Canadian comfort food food truck. Lot's of poutine, Nanaimo bars, etc. Lastly, this is a sci-fi kinda thing. A lot of sci-fi is filmed in Canada so why not pay homage to that? |
