Until v4.8 I could delete a menu item from the navigation bar by ->right-click ->delete.
With v5.0 this doesn't seem to work any longer. I can delete a menu item letter by letter (or all text at once), but I'm unable to delete the remaining empty space.

I do not use that function before and i do not know how it worked before but know i checked what you write, and yes you are right, individual menu item no possible delete with - right-click ->delete, but whole menu is possible. Micaelo try to delete with keyboard delet button, it works. Hover mouse pointer and click one time on the menu that you want to delete, and use keyboard delete button.

I think I had noticed that the menu behaviour is a bit wonky in v5.0 myself. I did delete and then click off and then back and forth a few times and then finally did delete. Currently I'm saving and reloading my own menu because RocketCake still can't handle really long menus... So I found that by setting the submenu height to something like -5, I could at least get my menu on the screen with severe overlap. Then set it back to 0 or something once I'm finished with all my entries. Doing these tweaks too often in one session though, and suddenly my properties pane is completely blank and won't come back without saving, exiting, and reloading...

Thanks, that's a bug, will fix this with a quick update.
@ivarforkbeard very long menus should be much easier to edit in RocketCake 5 now, but I'll be happy if you could send me an .rcd file where this still isn't handled nicely so I can improve it there.

I have downloaded the professional version of 5.0.1 and I am having the same issues with deleting an item in a menu list. In fact when I highlight an item and right click/delete the whole menu structure deletes. Thankfully Undo puts it back. Am I doing something wrong?

Do not highlight. Just rightclick the unwanted menu item and select ->delete.
