Minor update to my game 'penalty shooter' (probably not its final title) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCM_KZV2gjw -Fan supporters added:P -Added effect on upon player striking the ball. -planning to make optional play against AI or 2nd player on same keyboard. Im not a big fan of soccer, not at all. The entire summer kids been playing soccer next to my sleeping/working room and i got sick of it. Im always trying to make a positive from something negative so i thought i create a Soccer game:P enjoy. |

Looking good. I would make sure the ball rotates into the direction it is travelling - ie if swerving to the right then the rotation should be forward and to the right also... ps - years ago during soccer practise, I came up with an powerful swerve ball using the base of the foot area not the side or front of the foot area - very powerful and made balls swerve like mad with extreme speed... |

Hi Robo, The ball rotation is easy to adjust, i just set it up quickly to see how it performs in combination with the camera thats following. Im setting up general gameplay right now, once that is done i will adjust it. If you seen my other soccer gameplay video i set the players shoes on fire and made him run much faster. Your mention about swerve ball will definatly be somehow implemented maybe in combination with that fire? :) Btw i bought your grab and throw plugin and will probably use it for a bonus level/side mission in me retro diner project:) (the game is about 3/4 finished but i keep getting new ideas to implement every day. |
