Hey guys, it's been a minute, Hope you're all doing great!
I've been working on this game for the past few months and I think it is in a playable state to be showcased, so please let me know what you think!

DUZAKH is a roguelike retro inspired first person shooter game set in the ever changing dungeons of hell.

The game currently features (Beta v1.01):
- Procedurally generated dungeons
- 6 Weapons, 3 Enemy types, 3 Biomes and 1 boss
- Procedural animations for weapons
- Destructible props
- And much more!

This is the phase one, the plan is to add much more weapons, enemies, biomes and bosses to keep the game more varied and engaging across multiple playthroughs, so if you have any ideas or suggestion please let me know!

Notes:
- If you're having performance issues first make sure that you're using your dedicated graphics card, if you are using it and still have frame issues you can set the "lowGraphics" to true in the settings, this will greatly improve performance by removing a lot of the decorations in the game.
- Thanks to @Just_in_case for his cell shading extension which is used for the weapons!

Awesome DOOM clone. Enjoyed it. Perhaps you could change the use of the Enter key to the E key or something. Other than that it looks pretty solid. Thanks.

I played the game and if you like some feedback i can say its a very nice fps in my opinion. very nice hud and well made game

runs top notch with high settings on my basic laptop

i had though a problem with it .. windows defender found a virus in the program ?

i tried downloading the game again after windows defender had destroyed the file.. and there was no virus.. very strange windows defender must have made a mistake

i really like the tilting of the player when walking

@Arcanjo @Guest Thanks! yup the I wanted to go with E for interactions but I was using the E button for some debug purposes so I temporarily set the interact key to enter and kinda forgot about it, There will be a way to rebind keys in one of next updates but will definitely change the default key to E.

@Coa Thanks man, yeah windows defender does this sort of false warnings all the time with coppercube executables, although my own windows defender doesn't get triggered by it so I don't know what happened on your machine. The file is completely safe and I think itch also performs a scan on the uploaded files so there's no need to worry.

Hi smnmhmdy, your game is excellent, extremely well polished, the game runs great on my computer!

The game has a unique artistic style, it is inspired by classic games like Doom, Quake, but it's very original, congratulations!

I thought it was amazing the camera shake while walking, did you use scripts for that? I'm really curious about this!

Procedurally generated dungeons? Does this mean the map is created randomly? It looks amazing!

As a suggestion, I think it would be interesting if the game had some collectibles around the map, items, collectibles, such as rare objects and so on.

Great job, keep doing!

this is great !!! I enjoy it and I never expect less from you, you are a professional, or rather, you are a magician doing amazing things with this game engine. Sam, you outdo yourself in every project my friend... Cheers!
I imagine that they are going to put or postulate this game to appear on the cover of the new CopperCube update...?

@coa, they are image fonts, you can check the textures folder that comes with the game, it has all the font characters that have been used, as Coppercube fonts always mess up when you use custom fonts and scale them, it's a better way to use characters texture as a font.

My God, my God x1000000000..... I can't believe this is a game made with coppercube! Like using unity or Godot, your scene is very beautiful! I like it very much! I am also a fan of qukaelike games. But I can't do that! I think you can put steam on the shelf after optimizing it!

Suggestion: in my opinion, the bazooka is one of the symbols of quarkike. Your map is very difficult to play with. A dog with a big eye on his head always gives me a fright.... So every time I play boss, I only have more than 20 hp. PS: This is not my suggestion

There is no jump in the game, which is a headache. Every time I meet a dog with a big eye on my head, I get 5 points of blood before I can move... Plus jumping! Your game will be better!

By the way, could you show me your engineering documents? I swear, I don't think I will steal your game. I just want to learn it! Please.

@andgameplay Thanks man, Yup the camera shake is using my FPS Child Node Animator extension's shake functionality, I've released it as a standalone before which you can download from https://www.dropbox.com/s/n39v96... :)

Yes, the level is randomly generated every time you play! Definitely there's going to be a lot of collectibles such as power ups, weapons, story elements and other stuff to make up for exploration.

@bulletchain Thanks mate! yeah I agree with you about the dogs (Holkers), sometimes you spawn in an open area where there are a lot of holkers around and they just attack u and get a big chunk off of your blood and you can't really do anything about it... Will definitely rework the enemies in the next update to make these kind of stuff more fair and have the enemies be more fun to fight! thanks for the suggestion!

For sure! The core game is basically based on my Child Node Animator extension that I released a while ago, and all of the animations are built with that extension, its actually on sale right now, so you can grab it for free in the next couple of days!
