j9907 wrote: Just some technical questions I have (and also a suggestion or two) : Question 1: How many scenes can a single CCB file store? I'd guess anything over 200 is unreasonable. I'm just curious if the editor has a hard-coded limit of some kind... I don't have the entire game in a single CCB file anyways, as I am working on each level in separate CCB files and I'll merge each one into a "central" file and work from there... Question 2: Why does the editor save some sounds and not others? It appears to be a threshold of some kind. Basically if a sound file is over _ MB don't save it. otherwise, save it in the file... I sent a CCB with various sounds to someone for work, and I noticed some sounds were left intact but the other ones (such as ambience and music) were taken out. In the editor you can hear your SFX even if they aren't on the disk, so maybe have it so all sounds can be saved + can be exported by the user to disk... This would also make collaboration more easy... Not to mention backups would be easier too! Question 3: When is the next update coming out? It's been almost a year since 6.0.2 came out and, sorry, but it's annoying at this point... It seems like work has completely stopped since 6 came out. I think a lot of this stems from the fact that you made a fully free edition so you don't feel like there's enough of an obligation to work on it. Unfortunate, really. I truly hope the next update will include a preview of the D3D11 renderer as I'm excited for that! That's all. Q3 is more of a ramble than a question, but I had to ask...
