The FOV of the editor is EXTREMELY distorted. But once I set the FOV of the in game camera to what normal human eye actually sees, the 3D models and everything actually looks correct. If we cannot change the editor views FOV, would it be ok if you were to set it to the correct human FOV as the default ? 39.598 degree [50mm Photographic standard for Human view, this has been established through and through in the photography world] Once you do this, you will be amazed how "correct" the IDE 3D view will actually look. For those of you reading this making games using CopperCube but want to have your camera looks decent, set your in game camera's FOV to 39.598 degree. You are welcome ! |

Depends on the size of your window, but yes, this is currently not adjustable in the editor. You could try and do it by scripting (get the active camera, set the FOV property), but I'm not sure if this works, haven't tried it out. |

What I think he means is that when you mouse scroll in an out, it distorts the editor view something terrible. The editor should have a static view that never changes so we can depend on it. Please make it so that the editor itself does not distort like it does when moving in and out. Mike |
