First of all I must say that I'm very happy with RocketCake! I have been looking for a good offline website builder, that can handle responsiveness, for a long time. Wordpress, Mobirise or WYGIWYS Web Builder is not really an option for me. Now I've bought the professional version of RocketCake this week. The program does almost everything I want to do. But I honestly miss one function: The possibility to upload only the files which are new or changed. “Public changes only”. I am creating a site with at least 30 pages with many photos. Uploading all the files each time takes too much time! Publishing to the local disc first and then publishing with FileZilla to the server is no good idea either. Dear Nikolaus Gebhardt, I hope that you are willing to do something with this and that you can help us. This software would become even better. I'm sure that many users agree with me. Hi, yes, you are right, this is one of the bigger shortcomings right now, and this especially sucks if you are creating a very big website. The next update (it will take at least 1 or 2 months until then unfortunatley) will have a feature like that, and you won't have to reupload unneccesary data anymore. |

Ich schätze das Programm sehr, weil es relativ unkompliziert, einfach gehalten und leicht verständlich ist. Der logische Aufbau des GUI war eine erfreuliche Entdeckung für mich. Wie umständlich und zeitraubend ist dagegen doch WordPress! Natürlich wird der eine oder andere etwas vermissen, wie z.B. den Parallax-Effekt, Texteffekte und andere Spielereien. Aber das braucht man doch nicht wirklich! Auf dem Smartphone ist das sowieso nicht sinnvoll. Das was wirklich zählt für mich, ist die Fähigkeit der Software, Sites auch gut auf einem Handy darstellen zu können. Und das macht das Programm ganz ausgezeichnet. Herzlichen Dank für eine sehr gute Arbeit! Zum Schluss: Sollte diese Software noch wesentlich weiterentwickelt werden, bin ich gerne bereit dazu, später noch einmal in die Tasche zu greifen, um auf diese Weise die Entwicklung finanziell zu unterstützen. Ok, wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil ;-)) Das Tool ist auch nicht schlecht und Niko hat bereits eine überaus umfangreiche Liste m,it Anregungen erhalten, unter anderem auch diese hier. Ich denke, Niko weiß um seine große und treue Fangemeinde und wird sein Tool auf lange Sicht weiter entwickeln. |
