Hi, i found a "bug" of the terrain display in irredit. first of all i'm using vista ultimate 64bit maybe that's the problem but look at the screens: [URL=http://anon676.an.ohost.de/viewer.php?id=viu1229184528t.jpg] [/URL] here the terrain as it should be [URL=http://anon676.an.ohost.de/viewer.php?id=viu1229184554h.jpg] [/URL] and here the terrain when i'm zooming out a little bit. you see that the display creates a "plane" terrain second: when i'm using light and calculate the light/shadows and then delete the light and calculate the light/shadows again, it caculates like the light haven't been deleted. third: is it possible to create a road with irredit? or to texture heightmaps as i wish? didn't find that feature but it would be really nice imo, although i don't know how hard this would be to implement. sry if this bugs were already reported greetings Quillraven |

Yes, there is currently no way to remove the lighting again, so it won't calculate anything new if you remove all lights, I guess. For mesh modeling, you need to use another tool, irrEdit is only there to compose your world. |
