As the title says, I am unable to import a .x animated mesh into irredit version 1.4.1. I created the animation in 3ds max 2008 32-bit, I used the Panda exporter plugin to export as a .x file. When I import the file into irredit the mesh appears in a really odd shape, and the texture is all screwed up. The model is a character, and when I import it into irredit it looks more like a blob with some limbs sticking out in random directions. I was also unable to export this mesh as a .irr file for use with the engine. If anyone could point me to a walkthrough for this process, as I have to be doing something wrong. Also I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit if that is necessary.

Try to use the previous version of irrEdit, proably the import is better there. Going to release a new irrEdit version with the next irrlicht release which should fix this problem.

I tried using irredit version 0.7.1 and I get the same issue. Could it have something to do with the settings I'm using when exporting from 3ds with the panda exporter? My animated mesh is a character with a rig of bones that is hidden, and control objects attached to the bones to allow for animation. The animation I exported was only about 80 frames long or so.

Yes, could be a problem with the exporter, try some different settings maybe.
