Hi, one suggestion:
The 'default' unit scale appears to be 1 cm. When importing objects modeled with 1 unit = 1 m they are look small and all the controls (camera etc.) are moving and rotating too fast using too big interval. Also all the icons (light for example) are very big.
I think that there should be a way to change the default unit scale. Why this is important - there are many reasons, one is when using some physics engine the recommended length unit scale is 1 m (PhysX, Bullet for example).

After a closer look I see that the default unit is 1 dm, not cm (the test cube has edge length = 10 units, so, assuming that the crate like this should have edge length about 1 m -> 1 m / 10 = 1 dm). But my previous post is still actual of course.

There is no unit in irrlicht, basically it shows the size the 3d model was created in. :)

I understand that in Irrlicht unit = unit. But my point is that when I load a mesh level where previously mentioned crate have 1 unit length instaed of 10 units everything is too big (icons, camera speed). Is there any reason that THE CRATE should always have 10 units in each dimension? :)
