Howsit guys!

I am trying to make a quake type clone game.
https://jctech.itch.io/quake-c

I am still playing around to try and get the scaling right before continuing any work on it

I have the following issue

I want to add ladders and lifts/ vertical platforms

Any idea on how i can create them?

I have tried the move 3d object animated, but the camera/player falls through while it’s moving.

If I don’t use gravity, i can get the player to move up with the lift, but then you can jump anymore, and basically use fixed player heights on all levels.

Am i going to have to use code here?

You can also use my new API to turn on/off 'canfly' on the FPS controller which will allow vertical movement if you switch off gravity during climbing.

I have tested it and works well for climbing ladders.

From memory was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf0cwyHWdg0&t=12s
