[SOLVED Not a bug. There appears to be a bug with the "At random intervals do something" behaviour. I've set my game up as follows (visual code): Behaviour: At random interval (20,000ms), Action: If var "Sortee" >5, Set var "Sortee" = "-1" What I expect to happen is: At random intervals of 20 seconds, variable "Sortee" should be set to -1 (only if it's bigger than 5). What actually happens is: At random intervals of 20,000ms, variable "Sortee" is being set to "-1" (whether it's smaller than 5 or not). |

Ah,hang on - I keep forgetting - it may just be the same old bug I've encountered every other time I've had problems - it'll be one of Niko's original extensions from the Coppercube site causing all the problems (probably the "animate scale" plugin). https://www.ambiera.com/coppercu... JIC if it is the animate scale plugin, can you update it with the fixed version, or simply delete it from the Ambiera site and your Neophyte site please to prevent future issues please, it just creates too many problems with variables - every time I use it, it completely breaks my game by resetting variables and creating infinite loops with random actions. Huge problem. |

Just checked, it's not the "Animate scale" extension at fault this time. It was my own stupid fault - not sure how it happened but somehow I had accidentally placed an actionin the The "Directional Light" node. An "At random intervals" event was resetting the sortee variables. |
