Brutal Screensaver depicts a car drifting through a field trying to run over the player. Player can jump over the car. Difficulty increases as the cars speed and aggression slowly increases. If the player survives long enough, the driver draws a gun to shoot at the player. Player can try to steel the gun. Press "space" to jump, "esc" to exit. Download https://drive.google.com/file/d/... Recent update includes: Cars wheels steer left/right. Dust trails behind car. Fixed camera jitter. Smoother car drifting AI. Improved car textures. Player can jump over the car! Improved blood animation. Car bounces off player when hit. Better sounds (car engine, turbo, player jump etc). Car accelerates/decelerates. Improved car speed. Speedometer shows current car speed. Engine sounds respond to car speed. Turbo flame and brake lights respond to car speed. Rage meter increases as player survives. Driver Draws gun when "Rage" is maxed. Player can steal driver gun. |

Man, this is awesome, this is really awesome and the way that guy dies... it's hilarious., however, I like the terrain and the particle, not the smoke one( that's the only thing that wasn't looking good) but the dust particle cloud that forms when the car goes sideways. man that drifting and randomness of the screensaver is awesome. you did a very good job mate.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for the advice on turning coppercube projects into screensavers, simply by renaming the file! ....Oh, you mean the dust particle? I've fixed it and updated the link - added an afterburner/exhaust/brake-lights to the car and better dust to the sides of the car. I also added particles for dust when the man is running. I made the car myself with Microsoft 3D builder using this image from google as a reference for the model. Now I have the basic shape, I should really touch the finer details in a 3D sculpting app. zBrush CORE mini is awesome (and completely free) for anyone wanting to make 3D objects. It's basically the same as zBrush Core - just a lot simpler to use and doesn't cost anything. The character animation is "Hit from side of body" from mixamo*com site, model is "Miles-Headless" from p3dm*ru site - and I got the face texture just from google search and then applied it to a sphere in CC - sounds are from mp3-juice*com (which is basically just a youtuube ripper with a search engine facility) and also from sounds-resource*com (which hosts rips of audio, sprites, backgrounds and 3D models from games). I used sounds from "Mortal Combat 2" and real audio from video footage.
