Content removed temporarily. (I was informed that someone was selling my coppercube assets on Sketchfab - I reported the account and also closed my "free4all" sketchfab account).

I will make the assets available again on itch.io (for a small donation).

I had offered around 100 home-made models for people to use for free. No problem at all (didn't even ask for accreditation) - just don't sell them as your own! They're easy enough to make, stop being lazy, learn to make your own models if you want to sell them. lol

Thanks a lot for sharing these Awesome assets, and the best part is that you are sending them as CCB. so one has not to manually import and check each model how it looks.
If someone wants he, she can easily convert them into individual ccb prefabs.

Thank you just_in_case

another reason ccb is good is that the clock has actions to make it tick, the mirror has layers to make it reflect, and the fire has a flickering animation - people can then take look at the ccb file to see how it's all working if they find it interesting/useful.

I will probably upload the assets to my sketchfab account too.
On Monday I'll make a video of how I'm making the assets - I'm sure it will eb handy for people as it takes very little time to make basic assets and only a short time to make more complex ones.

*Just out of interest, whilst experimenting and updating the mirror model, I noticed that switching between Dynamic/Static lighting (in the objects material settings) makes fake-reflections work differently - dynamic lighting material makes the fake-reflection appear in parallax (good for reflective surfaces such as mirrors/water), whereas static lighting material makes the fake-reflection behave in parallel (better for shiny surfaces such as car-paint and plastic).

@VP

Really great models, VP. That "wicca table" should be called a wicker table, unless you want the witches coming after you. Wicca is some sort of neo-pagan religion. I really enjoyed the clock model. Reminded me of an old clock my grandpa had in his study. This scene is turning out to be the summer home of an inner city ninja tire thief who couldn't part with his grandparent's stuff and isn't afraid of taking hostages. I suppose the prisoner ratted him out to the authorities. Either that or he is the tire thief who was cleaning the blood off the cage and managed to lock himself in. Hope to see more. Cheers.

Thanks. Glad you like them - I'm fairly new to 3D modelling so I hope my skills get better eventually. Experimenting with a few different types of modelling tools/methods.

I spent a bit of time on the clock (excuse the pun), I made the shape with Coppercube's polygon tool and then textured it with FilterForge and then used "every few seconds" "rotate" to make the hands move round as transparent png's.

I changed the name of the Wicca table as suggested, lol. At the moment, I'm just making random things - whatever springs to mind, I might do some themes. I took the thief out of the cage for now, he's chilling on the sofa instead.

Got a few models ready to place into the scene and upload today. The file-size of the scene is creeping up past 100mb, so I think I'll optimise all the textures/normal maps at some point to keep the file-size low. The models aren't detailed enough to justify hi-res textures, 8-bit would probably suffice.

Cheers.

thanks

I'm still practicing 3D modelling/texturing -mainly with "3D Builder" (so they're all fairly basic/not amazing quality) but here's a pack with quite a few of the 3D models I've made so far.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/...

They've all been exported as .glb format (to make it easier to share the models/textures/normal-maps in single files), so they will need converting to collada.dae or wavefront.obj for import to coppercube.

*I'm gradually updating them all as .obj files so they can be directly imported to coppercube. I'm also reducing the file sizes.

Will hopefully be adding some animated creatures and people in the near future.

*All models were made by me - so, although I'm using them in my games, please feel free to use them in your own games if you like them.

Any requests/suggestions/ideas/criticism, please feel free to comment...

Wow, these are some great models and are a huge collection. If you allow me can I link your models to the website neophyte.cf?

and as always your skills as a 3D modeler are great. I didn't tried them yet, but in the screenshot, they look pretty good. Wonderful Job!

Hi buddy - sure thing, anything I post here, feel free to use it however you want to - it would be great to see them on neophyte!

Thanks, I really enjoy 3D modelling but just not very good at it yet. Most of my models are very quick/amateur quality (blocky), but quite a few of them took several hours to make and look fairly good, especially if I've made normal-maps for them.

Some of the models, I will re-do with better geometry and normal maps.

I have many other Aircraft/Spaceship models (which I made with the "Spore" game), just taking a while to extract them all and convert them with Blender.
