The site is down, thought I should post it here, in case you can check this. I know you have been missing since a long time, but your site was a great place for CC lovers.

Hi there thanks for letting me know, I just found that my Domain name just expired, and there is a big issue, I can't register for the same domain or renew it, because of technical issues the registrar is not accepting registration, however I have sent an e-mail to them and still waiting for a response from their side. I will try to upload the assets on my itch.io page. If nothing works, or will get another extension for the domain name.

Neophyte website has been now moved to Github Pages, so that it will be free and always acessible, also you can now contribute to it by pushing commits and all, and by extending the documentation and providing your own assets and all, If you own a github account then you can push a commit for the changes to the original website. You cal collaborate to make Neophyte website a better place for CC resources.

Hopefully on github pages it will survive even if the domain expires and we will have no downtime, you can now acess the website at

it will take sometime to update the site though.

I am not sure if I made the right choice by uploading the site data to github or not, but I think it will be better if more people can collaborate and expand it a bit. Also, i will be going to very soon upload the project file of the CMS I use to create this website, though some of the items are hardcoded in the html files. Hope this will be fruitful to the community. Also I will be uploading Discord exclusive content to the site as well, so that everyone can get benefit from it.

As you guys have already noticed that I am not that active in the community these days, and I don't want that this work will get lost and community has to suffer, I don't want that all of this get lost, If one day I won't be here then maybe someone else can build something on top of it.

Hope you guys will enjoy these little plugins and extension of mine, I am thinking of making some of my paid extensions to free as well, so that you guys can get benefit from it.

If everything goes right, I will be creating video tutorials for the engine and maybe more extensions and stuff.

I want to sincerely thanks to those who supported my work.

If you can, please place a "buy me a coffee" donation button/link on the github page, I think people may still like to donate occasionally, even if you're not actively creating content any more.

As you mention, I sense that Coppercube will become a forked project soon (not necessarily open-source). There are a lot of people who could sky-rocket this engine into the future using the existing source-code and Irrlicht. Niko could then integrate the new 3rd-party (beta) features back into the Coppercube original Source/API - as easy annual upgrades for the stable version.

The forum could be used as a hub for ideas/feedback/bug-reports. I'm sure that would be great for the community, for Niko and Coppercube in general - as it would bring Coppercube up to speed by user who know (and use) the engine every day and the missing features can be prioritised by those currently most needed/wanted.

There could also (possibly) be a public feature-roadmap and a funding page for major/minor Coppercube development projects to motivate people to contribute regularly.

Thanks @VP, for your kind words. Also I just found that the Download buttons are not working on the site due to the change in site URL.

So here is the direct link to the File Tree for all the downloadables files including extensions and demos, on neophyte. In case people want to download files directly rather than browsing through the site.

Also I beleive the donation button or the coffe button still points to the correct URL, as it uses paypal adress and has nothing to do with site url.

I guess, technically, nothing would stop us from putting a donate button right into a game, btw.

Updated the site a bit, all the download links are now working and have been updated to point to the new URL of the github repo, so the site functionality has been resolved for Download links.

New colors has been added to homepage buttons, and a notice on the homepage and assets page that the URL has been updated.

Updated some links and codes in the Javascript API section of the site as well.

While the site has been moved to new URL https://vazahat.github.io, it will sill receive updates and new contents. It just moved to a new URL that doesn't mean that the site is terminated or abandoned in anyway.

Willing to push more updates to it, specially to the API.

Looking good, highly functional.

Maybe it's just me, the 8 Bit relict, but I would like some more screenshots, CC eyecandy stuff. Maybe rather subtle as background of the title section, that then fades away.

Esp. for the CC affiliate links I'd say it would beneficial.

I just noticed that some of the other buttons are broken as well, will try to fix those and try to add new things.

Luckily there are already many nice screenshots, of which most owners would be ok when they are used to promote CC.

Not sure whether direct link works.

But rather than a gallery with some screens (that maybe too), I would try to amalgamate a couple of screens into a big image, also showing some parts of the editor, and a big CC logo, then use it as non-repeating background behind the upper part of the screen, full page width.

Maybe get some ideas from the unity or UE homepage.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will definately add Screenshot from CC's beutifulll games and other stuff, will probably add link to those game. I have some games in my mind that I can use Screenshot of, and maybe create a small gif or video as well to play in the blocks, if they are available.

I just saw UE and unity pages - the are really GIF-overloaded IMHO. And these fullscreen gifs even microfreeze very unsmoothly. So I think not too much GIF would be wise. Links to good games is a great idea. Usually most engines lack of this.

I've been playing around with the dialog manager. Wow, really easy to implement out of the box. Love it.

Question, is it possible to use an animated 3d mesh instead of an image?

Thanks glad that you found the Dialogue Manager easy to setup and useful. I quite can't understand your question, do you want the Avatar image to be a 3D character, or want the whole game as 3D and still be able to use the Dialogue manager.

Let me know what are your requirement and I might post a quick patched update, so that you can use animated 3D avatars instead of 2D overlays for the Avatar image. that would be really great.
