I have a client asking about developing a site to sell products, as well as streamable content. I'd love to be able to do much of the front end stuff with RocketCake, and wonder if anyone has much experience with integrating and creating something like this? Any thoughts or suggestions? Just add lots of "buy now" buttons to an existing site? |

Yes, you can add 'buy now' buttons like from paypal, or alternatively, integrate one of the existing shops like opencart, litecart, snipcart, or whatever. |

I bet you've built some killer sites since then. As for your question on RocketCake, it definitely has the capability for a neat, responsive front end. Integrating "buy now" buttons for a product-centric site is quite feasible, but don't forget the importance of good SEO for eCommerce sites. A while back, I was delving into http://how to rank different typ... on search engines and found this helpful resource. Their suggestions for eCommerce sites might come in handy for your client's site, even today. SEO best practices have remained fairly consistent over the years, so their advice is still applicable. |

Hi ivarforkbeard, I have experience developing "custom" sites, including PWA and desktop applications (if needed). Making use of php or node.js in the backend can work wonders together with RocketCake/Javascript/css at frontend making the site display the content dynamically. It is possible to make a bridge between the current client data and the sales page, which would make it easier for him to manage the site. The e-commerce ready apps like prestashop etc, are really good but sometimes clients feel afraid of its user interface. In those cases it's better a "custom solution". If you need help with this and would like to create a development team, I am at your service. You can contact me at: rsifontes@sifontech.com |

Your project sounds intriguing! While I haven't dabbled in RocketCake for eCommerce myself, the idea of integrating streaming content alongside product sales sounds like an exciting challenge. |
