my gun does not rotate with me when i change the active camera. |

I'm having this problem too :) : D |

it's very simple to solve this problem, you need to put the gun as a child node of the camera |

Do as suggested by @Mr.phimosis, make the gun children of your camera and it will now follow the movement of the camera. make sure to align the gun in front of the camera facing angle. |

I've already done what you suggested, for example when I press f it switches the active camera and when I switch the active camera and turn left and right the gun does not rotate with me. I can't continue improving my game because of this error! |

This is Copper Cube bug. I wrote about this to Niko for few days ago. Niko replied that he would look into it soon. |

It's not a bug. If you attach a gun as child to a camera, when you switch to a different camera, the gun will still be attached to the inactive camera - that's why the gun wont move with the new camera. Simplest solution is to make 2 gun clones - one for each camera. Best solution (as others said previously) is to set the gun as a child of the camera - and then switch the parent node of the gun whenever you switch cameras, using: ccbSetSceneNodeParent Alternative solution is to use two 3rd person cameras which both follow the gun (which can then be set as game character, moved by keyboard). |

Create a custom IK animation which the character and gun is one IK animation and make sure both textures import into Coppercube. |
