Here's a decent youtube video I found which explains how to make free 3D model assets from a single .png photo - you can then rig and animate them, for free, using mixamo. While not perfect - to be fair, the results look fairly good and the method is interesting. It uses facebook's Reality Labs AI, processed by deep neural networks which you link to your google drive. Final results just need slight sculpting and smoothing to remove noise/artifacts. Things are looking good for the future of home-made 3D animation and modelling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... |

Definately impressive. I wonder if they can link the original color image back as a texture to give color ? |
