Rats, I rebooted a sluggish laptop this morning and lost a good three quarter hour of work.
Maybe you could have a preference to autosave at a user-defined interval?
I don't even think Windows warned me that RocketCake was still running...

I've had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Lost a heap of changes and updates.
Still you live and learn but a warning that changes have not been made should be mandatory.
