how to insert new content below the lowest container?

It feels like I just can't quite get my cursor below the lowest container to insert new content - it keeps putting the new item inside the frame, instead of starting a new one below. This only occurs once my content is tall enough to require the scrollbar...

Am I just clumsy?

I was hoping that I could just use the keyboard arrow keys to move the highlighted "paste to" line, but that doesn't seem to work.

Is there a trick to it?

What I've just now begun doing is to start off ALL my pages inside of an overarching container, just so I have that small border to paste the new content into. Is that the standard practice? No biggie if it is - I feel ever so clever for coming up with it anyway.

Cheers!

Yes,I think that's the best and easiest way. (of course, you're clever! )

On our walk to the postboxes, my son and I often discuss our trials and tribulations while coding, and he had an equally elegant solution - just start with an empty container and always paste your new content right above that.

My solution would let me immediately scale my whole site down if that was part of the scope of the project though, so maybe his old man still has an edge...

Very are many easy variants,
one of them is - drag with mouse pointer to your desired place. )))

Ahh yeah, that makes sense too - it just meant that I would have to intuit to create the content in the wrong place, and then move it to the correct place afterwards. But definitely that's another great idea!

It's nice that we have a good community here.

Cheers!

Do you start with a root container? Like a container that all other containers fit in.

The standart-official variant is when you chose element from toolset and want to put it, you can see little bolded line near mouse poiner. The new elements goes where you see that bolded line.

RocketCake is great software but it will be the best if:

1. ability to add stylish ready made blocks
article blocks, info blocks, header blocks
footer blocks, features blocks, pricing tables
accordions and toggles tabs, form blocks
social blocks, testimonials etc.

2. ability to add description tag in free version

3. ability to add favicon in free version

4. ability to make fixed menu when scrolling

5. ability embed google fonts in free version

6. some preinstalled transparent png icons

and if add some content manegmanet system it will be fantastishhhhhh
