Hi,

I was working on my webpage and I quit RocketCake. I was expecting the warning that to continue without saving would loose all work since last saved. I did loose quite a few hours work.

Is there an option to receive this warning? If not was it considered or not?

Regards,
Peter.

Hm, when I click the 'x', it asks if I am sure if I want to close the editor.

Hi Erik,

On a Mac computer, you can quit the work area by clicking the Red Button on the top left of the screen. However this doesn't close the programme down and leaves it running in the background. You are given the option of saving work.
I presume you are using a Windows machine and by clicking the X does that shut the programme down as well?.

The other method is to go to the bottom of the dock and right click on the programme icon and click Quit. There you are given the option to save.

However, the method I prefer when finishing a program is to click on the programme name on the menu bar next to the Apple and, at the bottom of the dropped menu, click on Quit. The programme Quits without offering the user the option of saving the altered project. This is where I think there should still be an option to save before actually quitting.

Please accept this comment in the spirit that it is given. I am suggesting that, no matter how the work area is finished, in all cases an option to remind the user to save work if needed is given. It saves the heartache of trying to remember what's been done over the past few hours.

Kind regards,
Peter.

True, this should be added, you are right. Will likely be in the next update.

Thanks Niko. Still a learning curve for me. I've caught up again now. :>)
