With WebsitePainter, you can easily create normal websites by clicking them together. With RocketCake, you can do this too, but you can create websites with it, which are responsive.

Meaning that they automatically adjust themselves to the device they are displayed on. Like they work nicely both on an iPhone as well as on a PC screen. For this, RocketCake is a bit more complicated to use then WebsitePainter.

Hope this cleared it up!

Hello,

Thanks Niko for your reply.
I have a question regarding safety measures :

If a person that i dont know has a Rocketcake installed on his computer and viewing my website, will he be able to edit my website ?

Thank you,

No, he would need your site's password for that.

Hello,

I'm only using the free version to get familiarized with.

Is it possible to insert our logo on the Navigation Menu i tried but it didn't work or is this feature only available on the Professional version ?
Kindly advise.

Thank you,

The navigation menu only supports text, no images. You could put your image next to it, maybe.

Hello,

Thanks niko.
I am assuming that the ambiera.com website was done using RC, i notice that there is a logo on the left side beside the Products menu, did they just put the logo beside the menu item?

Can you tell me how do i do it ? Is it doable using the free version ?

Thank you again

Yes, you are right, the website was made using RocketCake, and the logo is just and image next to the navigation bar. Using the free version, yes: Just put both into a container, and center that container.

Hello niko,

Thanks again. i just saw your reply today 21 Feb.
I already did it :

First i created a container with 2 columns, i resized the columns 1 is smaller on the left and the other is bigger or longer on the right > i put our logo on the smaller column using the Image on the Toolset > then i put the Navigation Menu on the longer column.
I just adjusted the Position Type and Position of the logo and put a background to the container, i preview and its perfect that's it. i think its easy.
Let me know if the this is the correct way.

Thank you,
norman

I think I just used one container without columns, but yes, if it works for you then why not :)
