There seems to be a bug with the "move" command, if I'm use a camera in 3rd person view. I'm trying to make my helicopter tilt/lean when it rotates. It works but I noticed a (bug)? When I fly forwards, it works as expected but when I rotate 180 degrees and fly in the oposite direction, the helicopter leans/tilts in the oposite direction. It's as if the rotate function is relative to the ground instead of the player. I'm using the player>behaviour>when a key is pressed down>change rotation of a scene node>rotate by the rotation>change node"helecopter" (same problem occurs if I use absolute values) (same problem occurs if I set rotation relative to helecopter) (same problem occurs if I set rotation relative to terrain) How do I fix it please? Thank you |

humm... I haven't looked at this in CC - but from what you said it seems the helicopter is pointing in a direction ( say to the north) and when you rotate 180 (the view) you are looking to the south - but the helicopter itself is still pointing to the north? That could be why it seems to lean in the opposite direction... maybe you need to rotate the helicopter itself into the direction you are moving... like I say, I haven't really looked at this in CC, that is just a thought I had about it. |
