How did you do that?

Lol. I sure hope you aren't expecting a response from him. He's very quick to show off various things he does in CC but never says how he does them. Its obvious that he's doing it solely to gain notoriety in this (rather small) community. Pretty pathetic, if you ask me!

Yeah... Found some videos on his channel. He explains very few things. He is very young though (just listened to his voice).

Sorry to upset my guy. I mostly don't do tutorials because I am not a teacher, and these are all thing that can be done in engine with out any alterations or coding. Also more importantly, like I have said before, most of my effects are impractical and have no good applications, so I'd rather not see people use them. In this case if you would like to do this, parent a light with a radius of any negative number, so that it casts darkness to an object. This only works in DirectX 9.

This works actually. Just tried and thank you!
You may explain step-by-step other great things you did on your videos. This is not about teaching but sharing how it is possible. Your effects look awesome! Your experiments with light, reflections and shadows are very interesting. Keep going!

This is one of the coolest effects/TRICKS I've seen in coppercube I've ever seen. Brilliant idea Spartan!

If you color the light lets say medium blue it will give almost a green/orange ambient, can be great for objects on grass etc.
