I hope you like my latest attempt using CC. It has dynamically changed weather particles, weather type, weather severity, length, sound, lighting, colors & moving sun, all with time of day. See here - https://youtu.be/7J3YqpNgIOI |

wrote: @Robo WOW... really cool (amazing job)... Thanks crusly I was previously using a rotating point light with adjustable speed on a circular path but had issues with recording new days properly in my code for some reason and on reload took time to get to the correct time of day saved as it always started from 12 midday. I did have it working but I am happier with the rotating skybox now as its much easier to adjust its position instantly and it records exact time from inception easily as I record the total rotation from inception as a variable...easy to calculate then... I like to large sun glare around it also - looks better.. |

I have the code from another post of yours. to dynamically adjust the color of the skybox. |

wrote: Robo, you can make a tutorial how you created ? I did mention quite bit on how I did it in the video. Its up to you to experiment and work out the correct setup for each particle system & variables needed to monitor all that stuff. Its quite involved I have to say. Its my biggest and most important part of my game so I feel I have shared enough on that in the video. If you experiment enough and put the work in you will be able to so something similar also.. |
