I am looking into using Irrlicht for my project. For the audio, I'll use irrKlang (for obvious reasons). my question is this: Can I use WAV files which have more than 2 channels (5 to be exact) and then be able to independently mute specific ones? I want to do this so the music can dynamically change depending on what is happening (so if you're sneaking, the music gets simpler, or if you're being chased, it picks up a bit).

No, I don't think that's possible. I guess it would be easier to use 5 different audio files instead and mute those then.
