Niko, would you consider re-adding XP support? Even if only games ran on XP and not the editor itself, that'd be nice. I want to allow XP users to play my game...

I didn't realize XP was out, I thought exe would work since it's using DX9.
I just clicked on NetMarketShare, it seems that usage of XP through 2018/2019 was very low, about 3%, Win7 38% and Win10 40% (thought Win10 would be higher, everybody is always talking about it). I always liked XP, it was my favorite OS for a long, long time. After Win95 I used XP and had it on my PCs all the way up to 2010.
Btw I hated/hate Vista & Win8, worst things to happen to a PC :)

Yes, XP's share is quite low now, but still it'd be nice :)

XP is quite good, especially if you run the version without service packs as the memory usage is minimal... Application support is non-existent if you want to use anything remotely new...

Vista isn't good, true. 8, on the other hand, is my most favorite version of Windows. Not 8.1, but the original release of 8. It's so fast...

I had Vista for about a month and it had some unbelievable issues at the time. I never really owned Win8/Win8.1 (not sure what the differences are), we installed it on a few computers while I was working at the Nikola Tesla University, it just seemed very different from all of the previous OS versions, especially that go-to-the-right-corner-to-shut-down or left, can't remember :) It was clear in the first 24h that most of the faculty staff & students were unable to even restart the OS :D
Now that I look back, Win10 (which I like & use) does have more similarities with Win8 than it has with Win7, but it's, I guess, more familiar.
It could be a retro-thing, I'm still using Total Commander & even VirtualDUB, I fully support advancements & even experimental OS but I also like a bit of continuity in the new OS versions.
