I followed the Getting Started tutorial to Create a Responsive Web Site exactly, double-checked every step. For some reason, the container with the background image does not resize correctly to the smaller mobile phone sizes. Looks great in Desktop or iPad sizes, but most of the image is off the screen in the smaller mobile phone sizes. I adjusted the Minimum Height down to 240 and it then looks great in the smaller mobile phone sizes, but the image shortens for the Desktop and iPad size making most of the image non-existent. Other than that, it works great. Here's a link to a test page, so you can see what's happening ... https://thebackroads.us/community/test/ Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Michael |

I changed the background image in the container to a foreground image and now it resizes correctly. Seems to be some kind of glitch when using a background image in a container. Did not resize "responsively" as it should when using a background image in container. Ah, I've write this before seeing your second post, maybe this helps still anyway: Hi, from what I see on your website, the problem might be that the navigation menu has a lot of content and doesn't let itself resize to a very small screen. Be sure that it's "Mobile Menu" mode is set to "Automatically generated" and that you set the value at where the mobile version of the menu will become visibile ("MobileMenuVisibleAt") to a higher value, like 650. Also, be sure the image container is set to a size like "100%, auto", maybe you've dragged its size to be a bit smaller. Hope this helps, if not, send me the .rcd file, then I can take a closer look. |
