Looking forward to it - sounds like a great extension/addition. Free or paid?

Mike

I assumed people would thought it would be free. I have no reason to make it paid.

I am really struggling with movement smoothing. I cannot get relative movement with it, the smoothing only goes in one direction and doesn't follow two directions at once. Also, I cant get the same smoothing as the OG FPS camera has. I think I'm going to skip this feature. It isn't as useful anyways, as it makes static movement impossible and is like slipping on ice.

What does that game have to do with this?

Good news!
I learned a lot about interpolation and how it can smooth out movement. I am going to return to work on a smooth movement option. I already got zoom working, with a snappy zoom and a smooth zoom option. After I get smooth movement done, it's time to work on basic gravity and collision which is going to take a longggg time to do. After I do finish these last parts, I will post a progress video. But beyond that video, you wont see that much from this extension for a long time because a basic physics system is a very complex thing and I have to make it from scratch!

Due to the complex nature of this behavior, you will have to use "Execute JavaScript" action to create a instance of this extension. Its just not possible to have multiple instances of this extension as a behavior, so I have to stick with class-based systems now. I am reworking the code this way. Sorry.

Well, I completely made each camera an isloated object instance. It works! I also improved the textBox plugin!

It sounds like your "researching how basic physics and gravity works in games" is paying off. Well done on your accomplishment so far. Rest assured I look forward to finally checking out your Enhanced FPS Camera in action.
