Water surface loads gpu so much

Is there any way to simplify the water ? make less reflections for example

I used low... otherwise I would not ask
I even stopped the water flow(settled it to 0)
So I think that it's all about reflection (it reflects on a very long distance)

Water surface is a bit heavy in my project also, I'm not sure if you have a few instances of it in your game but maybe you could try making it to be one & experiment with smaller number of tiles. Also, if it's possible, you could try to making it visible/invisible depending on your player's position.
