I noticed if you export a lightmapped mesh as an .irrmesh and then import it, the mesh's lighting is messed up (it's too bright). can this be fixed?

If you export it using CopperCube 6 and then import it again, it works fine for me. You are probably using some other combination of software?

Hmm, odd. I tried using CC6 and then importing it again with 6. The lighting is way off. It appears to only happen if you use global illumination.

What it should look like:

Do you know of a program or plugin that can import irrmesh together with textures & lightmaps? So far I tried with DeleD, fragMOTION, MilkShape & Blender but they either didn't have an importer or it didn't work :(

Hm, interesting, will have a look at that.
No, irrmesh is not that popular, but most software which is based on Assimp supports this.
