So I was thinking: Would it be more efficient on resources if I split the levels up by objects and packed the textures for them into one image, and then cloned them as static animated meshes? Would it retain collision or would this not work? I'm wanting to eek out as much graphical power out of CC as I can :)
Sorry for so many posts! haha

EDIT: Scratch that. I'll scale back the texture details
Also: Does the "compress scene" option only affect the geometry in the CCB or does it permanently alter the actual model file (on the disk)?

I don't think it will alter the actual model files.... And i beleive that it only works for webgl and flash target...

Yes, it only changes the internal geometry inside of coppercube.

Hmm, so this won't affect the Windows or macOS targets. Correct? Could this somehow be expanded upon so it would affect those targets (if it doesn't already?)

@niko does the geometry compression plugin work with Windows targets? Or could it be expanded to allow it?

It just combines vertices with similar attributes, so yes, it works on all targets.
