hey hello im sina im downloaded your gta project and i will update this game to gta 5 maybe its taking time but im trying find models for it i have gta sa i can add my gta cars im using zmodeler for export to 3ds and in scetchup 8 im removing parts bcs in 3ds parts postition not on their location whtever sorry for bad english thanks iwill respound soon for gta 5 clone hihihihahahahahaha muaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha j.k bye |

Thanks! Glad you liked it. With @SmnMhmdy's TPP camera extension and with custom light shader it can be improved drastically.I might have picked it up, but I lost all the work, and I don't want to redo all of them. I am thinking of creating a fake physics simulation for vehicles though. I think it can be possible to do realistic physics based movement for vehicles and all.. |

Hi just_in_case. I'm back, and I do sincerely apologize for bumping an old topic. I'm following the tutorial on your website in these steps: Export dff, export textures as png, place both dff and png files in modelname.dff_tex, import dff into blender. But my model is showing pink/purple in blender. Can you please help me? Edit: It was an LOD file. Terribly sorry. ![]() |

Glad that you found the cause of the issue. Also some model files like glasses of some windows from vice city, might not get loaded in blender, in order export those models, you can try using Z-brush. |

@rockstarfake, the tutorial for this game is still up on my github page. I believe the same method can be used for GTA3 as well. However I don't recommend doing so, I created the clones for learning and for education purpose only and not with the intention to release a game out of it to the public. just_in_case you are right and I am not gonna publish this as a public release too as it will be a problem. So I leaved the GTA 3 project and started creating GTA Vice City but this will be for testing and educational purposes only, because when I was creating GTA 3 I ran into a problem. That when I tried to apply animation to claude it would just give me an error that it cannot apply the animation as the old GTA 3 models did not had armature and the chest and stomach were separate and it would look UGLY. So I Extracted the animations and applied them to Tommy from GTA Vice City. I am gonna focus to recreate some of the missions. I'll try to make it from the ground up but if I fail I will edit your project if you allow me. |

yeah, sure do whatever you like with the project. Go for it, just don't misuse the assets though as they are proprietary of Rockstar games. ![]() |
