Hi everyone, I need a portable version of CC. Does it exists ? |

|
hmm, where would this be needed? Aside from running it on school computers / publicly accessible ones such as a library, but again, that wouldn't be feasible to make a game on a PC in an open environment like that. check out the Cameyo Packager. It should work with CC 6 fine. I've used it to package entire games before so they're portable and it works beautifully. However, install a Windows virtual machine and then install Cameyo, and then CC there. Then just transfer the EXE to your main hard drive and try it out. |

You can just copy or zip the content of "C:\program files\coppercube" or whereever you installed coppercube. It will work. So bascially, CC is already portable. No need to change anything. |

@niko you are right but all the extensions, plugins and even some prefabs won't work with that way because these files are saved in "Documents" folder in Windows XP, 7, 8, and maybe 10 too. |

@j9907 I just looked up Cameyo, I'm not sure what 'free for 50 users' means? Is the Exe file (of the game you packed) checking the systems it's on & locking after it's been used on 50 different computers? Or is the 50 users limitation just for files that are being uploaded to their cloud? |

True, you need to take your plugins with you, right. |
