Changing the model later

Hello,
I would like to know if I can change a model after a while (during development). For example, I take a prefab clerk, build all the game around it, interactions, and then I would like to replace the clerk with a dog (without changing the functionality). Is there a way to do this, and if yes, how?
Thanks

Hmm, well you can copy behaviors between 2 different nodes very easily if this is what you are talking about:

Right click on the node in the object list, and go to Modify Selection / Copy Behaviors of this Node

Then just right click on the other node and do the same, but click the Paste option.

Is this what you mean?

Thanks for the reply. My intention is to start developing a small game, but I don't have all the models now, so I'll have to replace them at a later time. So, I think your solution is good for my needs. I'm very new at this thing, so i might not think about all the possible problems that might come up.

Oh, I see now. So you want to have placeholder objects for the characters and other stuff and then swap this stuff out when you have the actual assets ready, correct? If so, then yeah. That will work just fine (what I said - transferring behaviors). Best of luck!
