Model turns blue when using .dds texture

Hello,

right now I am having a pretty weird situation. When i put a DirectDraw Surface file as a texture on my 3D model, it turns to blue.
In FragMotion everything is fine using the .dds File.

After converting that file to a png one, it works in coppercube.
🔎︎



Is there a way to use my .dds textures without converting them to .png?

Nope - happened to me as well. Solution was use anything EXCEPT DDS textures.

Yes, that's a bug which happens for some DDS encodings, it should be fixed with one of the next updates.

Hi! Same happened to me with .dds files. But there's a simple solution. you have to swap the colour chanels of red and blue (for example in Photoshop), then the Image should look normal.
