I made a overhead camera. I would like to place that picture-in-picture style in the lower left of the main camera to use as a map. I have the overhead camera as a child to the main 3rd person character. How would I do this? Are there commands for this? Thanks. Mike |

I don't think that it is possible. |

Really? With the ability to create as many cams as possible, we're not able to make one on-screen as a map? You can do it in the editor as it's own viewport. Hell, this was easy to do in Dark Basic and Blitz3D - I just cannot see how it's not possible at all in Coppercube! Surely it can be programmed in javascript???? Mike |

As a coder, I prefer to use javascript...but this engine caters primarily for non coders... I would also prefer that the javascript API where extended... I do feel that it is limited. |

For overhead cam, are you trying to make a map? There is a behavior for that |

Currently using that behavior by zaimezegpi is only possible way, and for the dot you can change that dot into a pic too... May be using an overhead screenshot of the player... And using that as dot wilk mimic the effect as if character is moving...it may not reflect realtime positions...or may be work... |
