This is from the manual: Video playback works on Windows with all installed DirectShow video decoders. You can download and install additional ones, and the default ones work with basic video formats, such as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. Notice that the decoder for your specific video needs to be installed on the target system, so be sure to either use a common codec which is installed on all systems, or install your codec with your app on the system. Make sure you have the codec installed to properly play the video. Mike |

I don't know what to tell you. It works just fine for me as long as I stick to the MPEG2 format |

You just put your video.mpeg file in the directory where your saved ccb is and then just copy it's name and write it in Coppercube. And Boom. It's working Right??? You haven't installed any other software like video player or DirectShow video decoders. Right???? |

If I'm remembering properly, I think installing that codec pack will fix the issue. i truly can't remember whether I had installed that prior to trying MPG2 videos. The problem is I formatted my hard drive since so I can't check for you, but by all means try it. |

Does your video plays correctly in VLC or nay other media player.... Or you can try to convert it into .avi using some sort of video converter... i will recommend to use AVD( any video converter)... also your video file must resides in the same directory where your ccb file lies... it doesn't matter what name of your video file is... also you have to specify the extension of the video file while writing the name in the action.. for example if your video file name is "hello" then writing hello will not work unless you write it as "hello.avi" or any other format you are using like .mp4, .mpeg anything... it will work fine with most of the formats... you don't have to install any codec.. but if you are working with a codec which is rare then you need to provide that codec with the .exe to the client. hope that works! |
