I need to export my animated mesh to FBX as the Blender .X exporter causes the mesh to be separate from the armature bones, the Blender B3D exporter doesn't support exporting animations, and the Blender .MS3D exporter causes the bone weights to be 0 which in turn causes animations to look distorted and detached (no mesh morphing present in animation). The issue is, CopperCube is refusing to import the animations from my exported FBX file. It imports fine as an animated mesh but the animations do not appear nor can I click <edit> to edit the animations as there is none imported. I think this is a bug with CopperCube because blender exports the animations fine. Yes, I did bake the animations so they are in one timeline. |

Fbx animated models exported from blender works fine for me.... Am using blender 2.79 ... And i can also edit the animation using animation editor of coppercube.... And blender actions are simply imported as coppercube animations action... So you don't have to edit it in coppercube and create new animation action using action editor... There may be some problem with your 3d models... Or the way you exported your models... |

These are the selections that work for my models: ...I always use older 6.1 ASCII version, only selected objects, edge smoothing, only Actions not Default Take (so that I have separate animations) & I optimize keyframes for smoother playback. Hopefully these settings will work for you also :) |
