Fantastic Version. |

As far as version naming, personally, I would have gone with Gold and Platinum - Platinum being the one that includes the source code. Just saying... There used to be 3 versions - cheap, more expensive and very expensive. Now there's free, reasonable and a bit more expensive, but you get the source code. While Coppercube is lacking PBR textures, with shaders and full screen effects, you can get a quasi-AAA look out of it with good enough assets. Just remember one thing, Coppercube was always meant to be a lightweight engine for mobile games and light PC/Mac games. It was not meant to compete against Unreal or Unity (which sucks anyway - can't get anything finished with it just about - have to re-write it with a team of people to finish any decent game with it). I hate Godot - could not get it to do anything and I have used many engines. I tried Godot about 7 times and could not import an asset - it has to have the most difficult interface i've ever seen. It's the Blender of the game engine world (lol). But, that's my opinion... Mike |
