What will be released earlier, Half-Life 3 or CopperCube 6? |
||||
|
Coppercube 6... It is almost complete... In beta stage.... And Niko will be going to release it soon .... My guess is coppercube 6 will be out by the upcoming 2 weeks... Or maybe earlier.😇 |

Is it a free upgrade ? |
||||
|
You get a big discount if you have a license for updating. It is a free upgrade from CC 5.5 but only if you purchased it from the ambiera website within the last 2 months. (Edited by niko to correct the statement, previously it was "It is a free upgrade from CC 5.5 but only if you purchased it from the ambiera website." :) |

I did ! YES ! |

Sigh.... so how much is this going to cost if I got it off Steam? |

I corrected Zoo's statement above a bit by editing it, so that the info isn't wrong there. And for steam: see here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/8... |

I am so confused about the upgrade path from Coppercube 5 Pro (on Steam) to Coppercube 6 Pro. This could be just me, but I seem to be getting a range of different prices for the upgrade. One is saying I need to pay £135, another is saying £71.09 and another that says it's £35.34. Help! UPDATE: it turns out I'm an idiot. I've found that Steam has bundled the CC5 and CC6 together and it's asking me to complete the bundle for £35.34. Got it, time to 3D |

I like that I can upgrade for a bit over $50 and get the full pro version. I pulled the trigger and went for it. Nice to have unlimited scenes, scene metrics and full screen effects, among others. Mike |

thanks for making cc6 free niko. still trying things out, but I checked out the Steam page has the pricing mixed up (Studio edition is more expensive with the Professional Edition). |

thanks for making cc6 free niko. still trying things out, but I checked out the Steam page has the pricing mixed up (Studio edition is more expensive with the Professional Edition). It looks like he's got it right on Steam. The Pro edition is being sold for $99.99: https://store.steampowered.com/a... And the Studio edition is being sold for $199.99: https://store.steampowered.com/a... The Studio edition is supposed to be more than the Pro edition because you get the source code with the Studio edition and don't with Pro. |

I see and it's kinda misleading at least for me and I think for some as well. I'm sure it is not a typo and more of a choice if that is the case, but if you compare it word wise, Studio vs Professional means the PRO would sound the high end one in a marketing sense or whatever, wouldn't you agree? That is why "instinctively" I was confused by the pricing. |
